Migrating from RefWorks to a Replacement: Mendeley Import

Importing Citations into Mendeley

1. Open Mendeley. Create folders if desired, and then click on the folder that you want to import your RefWorks citations into. If you do not wish to import your citations into a folder, select All Documents. 

Choose all documents or folder

2. Select File->Import->BibTeX(*.bib).

Select BibText Import

3. Select All supported formats. Click on the file you exported from RefWorks. Click Open.

Select File to Import

4. Your citations are now imported into Mendeley.
