How to Find Nursing Articles

Finding nursing articles on your topic is easier than you may think. There are two strategies you can use:

  • Go directly to nursing journals in your specialty and search for your topic there.
  • Search the databases (CINAHL, Ovid and/or PubMed) for your topic and then limit the results to nursing journals. See the tutorials below to learn how.

Ready to jump right in? CINAHL has the majority of our nursing journals and is a good place to start. The search box below is configured to search for research articles. Simply type in your topic and click search.
