There are hundreds of mobile apps available that were made specifically for nurses. This page is intended to give you an idea of the types of apps available and suggestions for ones to try. We can't fit all of the useful apps that are out there on this page, so we definitely encourage you to search for more if you don't see something you like.
The apps showcased here are intended for RNs, NPs, or both. Most of the apps are free or inexpensive. We have avoided recommending very expensive apps (of which there are many in nursing). Apps must have been updated in the last 18 months to be included here. See also the Apps for All tab for more apps that might be helpful in nursing.
These apps are aimed at student nurses, to help with learning how to be a nurse and with passing the NCLEX-RN.
