Cited Reference Searching in Ovid Medline
Cited reference searching allows you to track who has cited a particular article. Follow these steps to conduct a cited reference search using OvidSP Medline:
1. Go to the library homepage and navigate to the "Databases and Tools" section. Click on OvidSP Medline.
2. Perform a title search for an article you already have. Enter four or five words from the article title and select the correct title from the results.
3. Once you find the article citation, click on "Find Citing Articles" from the options on the right side of the screen.
4. On the results page, you can select all or specific articles and choose to Print, Email, or If you use a citation management tool like Zotero, you can Export the citations and save them directly.
