Jessica, our Director of Library Services, started working in her university library as an undergraduate and she never looked back. Now, she has been working at the Bellack Library for 14 years! She loves her role as Director, because she gets to have her hands in just about everything at the library and never gets bored. Her favorite thing about working at the IHP is how amazing the students and faculty are to work with.
When she isn't working at the library, Jessica loves traveling whether it's locally, domestically or internationally. She feels that every time she leaves the house there's the potential for adventure and discovery!

Katie is one of our Reference Librarians. She believes that education and libraries are vital to the success of a community, which is why she finds peace working at libraries. While at Bellack, her focus is reference, instruction, outreach, and student engagement. Her favorite part of working at the Institute is helping the community on their research projects.
When she is not working, Katie enjoys reading and spending time with family and pets. She just moved to MA in February 2024 from California, so on weekends, she enjoys driving around New England and seeing new places. When she has longer breaks, she enjoys visiting with family in Michigan.

Shokria is one of our Reference Librarians. Shokria has been working in library and information science for over 12 years. She enjoys supporting students and faculty members with their research studies and hopes to create LibGuides and Tutorials to assist them with their information needs.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, watching movies, walking outside, and enjoying nature.
