General and healthcare-related HIV stigma among cisgender Brazilian women: The role of socioeconomic vulnerability
We found a high prevalence of stigma associated with HIV faced by Brazilian women from all regions of the country, both in everyday life and in healthcare contexts. Evidence-based interventions to reduce stigma in the general population, and specific mental health care aimed at women with HIV in Brazil, especially among those with greater socioeconomic vulnerability, are urgent.

“Why Not Just go on PrEP?”: A Study to Inform Implementation of an HIV Prevention Intervention Among Hispanic/Latino Men Who Have Sex With Men in the Northeastern United States
This mixed-methods study identified several challenges and opportunities for increasing the reach of PrEP to Hispanic/Latino MSM. These findings should be used to inform tailored implementation strategies to promote PrEP uptake among this at-risk yet currently underserved population.

There are disparities in HPV vaccine uptake among 27 to 45 year-olds, and adult Hispanics have lower odds of receiving the vaccine. Given the vaccine’s importance in cancer prevention, it is critical that these disparities are addressed and mitigated.

Our study provides important context on the feasibility and acceptability of implementing an MIH-CP program. Findings offer valuable insights into reducing health disparities seen in vaccine uptake through community paramedics, a novel and innovative approach to reduce health disparities in rural communities.
